Affiliate disclosure
Nourlume may use affiliate links on some pages. Here is how those links work, how they are identified and what they do not change.
Last updated:
The short version
When Nourlume uses affiliate links, we may earn a commission if you buy something from a retailer after clicking one. You do not pay Nourlume an additional fee for using an affiliate link. Affiliate relationships do not determine what we write, which products we mention or what we conclude about them.
How affiliate links work
An affiliate link is a link to a retailer that carries a tracking code. When you click one, the retailer or an affiliate network records that you arrived from Nourlume, usually with a cookie or the code in the link. If you then make a purchase within a set period, the retailer may pay us a percentage of the sale. Any commission is paid by the retailer or the affiliate network, not by you.
How affiliate links are identified
- If a page contains affiliate links, it says so in a notice near the top, before the first link.
- Where appropriate, affiliate links are marked with
rel="sponsored"in the page code. - Links to studies, health authorities and other sources are never affiliate links.
What affiliate relationships don’t change
- Which products we include, how we compare them or what we say about them.
- Our willingness to mention products we earn nothing from, or to say that you may not need to buy anything.
- The criteria we use to compare products, which are written out in each buying guide.
We are not owned by any brand or retailer. Read more about how we stay independent in our editorial policy.
